Visit of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Leah Tutu in Toronto: September 17th to 21st, 2002

"For some people a train travelling through their neighbourhood is a nuisance....for other's – it is salvation...!"

As Patrons of the Phelophepa Health Care Train - Nobel Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Mrs. Leah Tutu continue to dedicate their lives to humanitarian concerns, not only in South Africa, but around the world. As such, Mrs. Tutu continues to champion many causes while at the same time assisting her husband in his work; standing beside him in the fight against apartheid and the ongoing struggle to overcome poverty and ignorance. Among their many worthwhile causes is the Phelophepa Health Care Train. Mrs. Leah Tutu was keynote speaker on humanitarian issues at a luncheon held September 18, 2002, Sheraton Centre Hotel, Dominion Ballroom, 123 Queen Street West, Toronto.
